Our
success is built one job at a time: we consult with each customer, providing
recommendations on the appropriate size, location and wiring configuration
for their application.
We are a one-stop company: we specify, schedule,
deliver, install and service every generator that we sell. We secure
all necessary permits and inspections. And as part of commitment to the
industry we also service older Guardian models and units bought or installed
by others.
Usually, the process begins with a visit to the customer’s home,
where we discuss how the generator works, what the customer needs and
wants, and practical things such as location and noise factors. At the
end of that discussion the customer generally has a pretty good idea of
the options and prices.
We then follow up within a day with a written proposal (we use email
very often), which outlines options, schedules, etc. We stock a fair number
of generators, so scheduling is almost always at the customer’s
convenience. Most jobs are done in a single day,
minimizing customer inconvenience. Most jobs can be completed without digging a trench, since the generator
is usually located near the home (within 15 feet of a gas line or meter).
One hole is drilled near the foundation of the house, to allow for electrical
connections to the main panel.
All of our installations include One Full Year of Service and Maintenance
(a $325 value), and the factory-recommended start up and run-in (a $300
value). All Guardian generators come with a complete two-year warranty
from the manufacturer.
